So many incredible businesses exist because someone loved what they do enough to build something around it. A diving instructor who built a liveaboard operation from scratch. A yoga teacher running retreats across three countries. A surf coach whose school became a community. Worlds I know well, because parts of my own story live there too.

I've always been drawn to what's beyond what I know. Growing up, I devoured travel stories, documentaries about distant cultures, anything that opened a window onto how differently people live. That curiosity never really left.

It's what pulled me toward international roles, toward teams spread across different countries, toward work that meant constantly learning how someone else sees the world. Over 20 years, that took me across small and mid-sized businesses over a few continents, in sales, marketing, and management roles, through industries as different as construction, diving, and hospitality. And one pattern kept showing up everywhere.

Today, as an OBM and online operational and strategic partner, I work alongside passionate founders to clarify what's blocking them, build the systems and organisation that hold the growth, and help drive execution, because a roadmap with no real action is just a nice document. Many of them are also living abroad or working internationally, often in a language that isn't their first, and that's as well a reality I understand from the inside.

And outside of work, you'll usually find me near or in the water — preferably a salty one with coconut trees nearby — foiling (or at least trying to), sailing, paddleboarding, diving, or on my yoga mat.
